HISTORY : Louis Liger-Belair， who was a general under Napoleon， moved to the Vosne-Romane Chteau in 1815 and started to develop the Liger-Belair area.
Since 2000 Louis-Michel Liger-Belair has been in charge of the domaine. This exceptional terroir produces among others the Romane and this grand cru covers an area of 85 acres. It is the smallest wine-growing AOC in the world， located north of the parcel of Romane-Conti.
